Victims' Voice in DUID Crashes

Many voices are heard during any discussion of Driving Under the Influence of Drugs (DUID). The voices of the marijuana lobby, law enforcement professionals, attorneys, forensic toxicologists, and drug users typically dominate. DUID Victim Voices represents the interests of the victims of drugged driving, providing fact-based education and a victim perspective to decision makers and to the general public.

DUID Victim Voices will emphasize DUID education through its extensive work with researchers and other professionals in the field. Much of their educational material can be found on www.duidvictimvoices.org, either in our Blog or in our References section. They invite legislators and others students to use these resources to answer questions that routinely emerge during DUID discussions.

DUID Victim Voices actively lobbies for legislative changes that have the potential to reduce drugged driving and to improve enforcement of drugged driving laws, all with a view of representing the interests of DUID victims.

DUID Victim Voices encourages your comments and questions via the contact information shown on the website.

Many of you meet with victims of drugged driving in your daily work. When you do, we encourage you to refer these victims to be a part of these efforts. Their voices can be amplified as DUID Victim Voices continue outreach to legislators.
