SADD Hiring for Colorado Coordinator

SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) is the nation’s premier youth health and safety organization that works to empower teens on the issues of traffic safety, substance abuse, personal health and safety.

SADD has a network of dedicated professionals who serve as State Coordinators. This full-time position, based in Colorado, develops and oversees the vibrant network of SADD chapters across the state.

Key responsibilities include:

● Serve as the project manager for statewide and national grants with support from the national office.

● Develop new SADD chapters by targeting school districts, superintendents, principals and other education and community professionals.

● Support existing SADD chapters by keeping them active, informed, and engaged in national and statewide programs, activities, and initiatives.

● Serve as the state voice of SADD with day and overnight travel to meet with chapters, partners, media, legislators, and other interested parties.

A successful applicant will possess a BA or BS degree with 3-5 years’ experience in the field of education, prevention, youth advocacy, substance abuse, program development, or other relevant field. Strong writing and organizational skills are a must, as well as effective interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office and other tools is expected. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. No phone calls accepted.
