Healthy Youth Campaign Background

The Colorado Departments of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Human Services (CDHS) are working with SE2, a Denver-based communications agency, to develop the Healthy Youth Campaign. This is an innovative, statewide media campaign that engages youth and adults to strengthen authentic and supportive youth-adult and youth-peer relationships.

The goal of the campaign is to help young people become more connected – to their peers, their parents, and other trusted adults in their lives – because when they connect with others, they are healthier and more resilient to negative forces in their life, like risky behaviors, drugs, and alcohol.

If you have questions about efforts in your community, please contact Sara DeLong, Healthy Youth Campaign Communications Specialist, CDPHE, [email protected].
