Virtual Conference: Call for Proposals Now Open for Fifth Annual Shared Risk Virtual Conference

The Call for Submissions to present at the 2021 SRPF Virtual Conference is now OPEN! Read the full CFP and submit a proposal HERE. The proposal window will close Friday, February 12th, 2021 at 5pm.

The Shared Risk and Protective Factors Conference attracts adults and young people from across Colorado actively engaged in upstream or primary prevention efforts at the state and local level. By applying a ‘shared risk and protective factors’ lens, we can positively impact young people through reducing risk behaviors and increasing protective factors in the family, school, and community. This conference recognizes the importance of health equity and seeks to incorporate discussion of health equity in all sessions. This event aims to strengthen collaboration efforts across organizations and funders; build skills to enhance implementation of evidence-based prevention practices, policies, and programs; and highlight successful efforts of community-led coalitions.

This year's virtual conference features 4 content categories towards achieving the goals of the conference, which are: Innovation, Inspiration, Motivation and Empowerment, and Professional Development. A particular focus will be on racial equity; policy and community engagement; and innovation in the light of COVID-19 and opportunities to do systems change differently post-pandemic to achieve greater equity in access and outcomes.
