Webinar: Ask, Listen, Learn: Kids and Alcohol Don’t Mix.
SHSO youth and impaired driving coordinators and law enforcement liaisons are invited to join GHSA and Responsibility.org on April 22 at 2 p.m. ET to learn about Ask, Listen, Learn: Kids and Alcohol Don’t Mix. Developed for kids 9-13 years of age, this free, evidence-based underage drinking prevention program helps parents and teachers start and continue a lifetime of conversations with children and teens about the effects of alcohol on the developing brain. The digital program was updated in 2020 to include the impacts of cannabis.
This webinar is about a completely FREE digital underage drinking prevention program for kids ages 9-13 (grades 4-7), their parents and educators with the goal to prevent underage drinking. The webinar will be geared towards youth/impaired driving coordinators and LELs and will discuss Responsibility.org’s Ask Listen Learn (ALL) underage drinking prevention program. After a welcome by GHSA's Jonathan Adkins, Responsibility.org's Helen Gaynor will provide an overview of the program and talk about resources available through ALL. At the end of the webinar, attendees will be able to ask questions, request more information and sign up for a back to school event.
