This virtual training, developed specifically for youth employees and leaders in Colorado, will help young people understand how their individual work fits into the broader landscape of youth engagement practices and efforts to create change across the state.
Our goal is to help youth understand:
- How their own roles in their organizations came to be
- Who decides and oversees which organizations receive funding
- Why those decisions are made, and
- How they can use that knowledge to help others
Participants will have the opportunity to connect with other young people to learn about each other's work in different systems across the state.
YOUTH: please fill out this form to sign up for this free training! The training itself is 1.5 hours and will be followed by a half-hour focus group to gather feedback from participants on the individual training as well as the overall system and accessibility. You will receive a $15 gift card if you attend the focus group for your time and input towards helping us develop the Youth Employee and Leader Empowerment Training System
