Job Opportunity: Tri-County Health Department is Hiring Youth Engagement Specialists

Tri County Health Department currently has Youth Engagement Specialist positions openings, full-time and part-time availability, to work in communities across Adams, Arapahoe, and Douglas Counties. Focus areas include the rural communities along the I-70 corridor, central and north Aurora, and Douglas County, though there are opportunities to work across the entire jurisdiction.

This position does not require a degree, and a lot of paid training will be provided. The only real requirement is experience with young people (being one counts!) and a passion for community. This could be a great opportunity for a recent high school graduate, a community college student, a young person aging out of the foster care system looking for work, a young person on probation/parole looking for employment, or truly any young person with a passion.

The position will remain posted until all spots have been filled. No resume or cover letter required – the online job application form includes all information we need. Pay range is $20.55-$23 per hour, and benefits are available for staff working a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Full job description and online application access can be found by clicking this link  https://www.tchd.org/688/Current-Job-Openings and selecting Youth Engagement Specialist. The job description is posted in both English and Spanish. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred for at least one of the people hired. We will continue to accept applications until all positions have been filled.
