Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) is hiring a Inspire Youth Connections (IYC) Program Specialist!

This position acts as a resource to the community in implementing positive youth development (PYD) strategies and activities; engaging adults who are committed to creating strong, consistent, trusted, caring relationships with our youth; and contributing to a highly collaborative, deliberate, and supported youth-serving professional community. This position will work closely with the Boulder County youth and adult communities, BCPH colleagues, local school districts, and community agencies/coalitions to plan, implement, and evaluate strategies that impact PYD with a focus on preventing teen suicide, bullying, violence, and substance abuse. The Inspire Youth Connections Program Specialist  will work collaboratively to increase health equity for populations adversely impacted by bullying and youth suicide. The position will work with and convene initiatives and coalitions in Boulder County that are focused on building life skills, increasing connectedness, or preventing bullying and youth suicide to ensure that county efforts are coordinated and leveraging available resources.

This is a full-time, benefited position with Boulder County - hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (with occasional evenings and weekends).  Under FLSA guidelines, this position is exempt.
