Call for Proposals: Annual Shared Risk and Protective Factors Conference 2022


6th Annual Shared Risk and Protective Factors Conference 
June 1-3rd, 2022
Happening in-person at the Keystone Conference Center in Frisco, Colorado

The Shared Risk and Protective Factors Conference brings together over 600 Coloradans actively engaged in primary (upstream) prevention at the community and state level. The goal of the conference is to build skills in 4 track areas; share evidence-based prevention practices; and promote attendee networking with regional and community partners.

The 2022 SRPF Call for Submissions is now OPEN! 

You can submit for breakout sessions and workshops, poster presentations, audio-only podcast sessions, and organized evening activities. It is expected that each presentation is done with an equity and anti-oppression lens.

Accepted presenters will receive a discount on conference registration fee for themselves and up to 3 co-presenters (4 total per session) and compensation to their organization based on allowability and/or organization size.

Primary Competency Areas:

  • Advancing Equity - including, but not limited to: JEDI training, Implementing policies, practices, or procedures to address equity and reduce inequity

  • Communication - including, but not limited to: Grant writing skills, facilitation skills, and nuanced communication to work across partners or sectors

  • Connection - including, but not limited to: burnout, compassion fatigue, and nurturing mental and emotional health; engaging the community in grant writing process

  • New Perspectives - including, but not limited to: cross-sector partnership success stories; non-traditional perspectives on primary prevention
