YRBS Data on Texting and Driving



The CDC analyzed recent YRBS data to view teenager behavior on texting and driving.

Read more from the Pediatrics Journal on the high rates of self-reported texting: more than 44% of teens reported texting while driving in the last 30 days.

Teens who texted while driving also reported higher incidence of not wearing their seat belts,  riding with drivers who were drinking alcohol, and driving while impaired.
